The Group defines 'Champions' as vendors who receive high scores for most evaluation criteria – features, usability, platform coverage, and support – and offer excellent value. They also have a strong market presence and are usually the trend setters for the industry.

In earning the 'Champion' designation, Sophos was praised for providing a combination of strong features, ease-of-use, and reliable performance. Additionally, the report concluded that of the eight endpoint anti-malware solutions analyzed, Sophos Endpoint Security and Data Protection "produces the most feature-filled anti-malware suite."

"Sophos's mission has long been to offer the most comprehensive endpoint suite that is simple to deploy, use and manage, and available at an extremely competitive price point that aligns with IT budgets," said Rainer Gawlick, Chief Marketing Officer at Sophos.
