Customer group to share opinion, expertise, and experience to help drive direction of Sophos Security and Data Control solutions and services IT security and control firm Sophos today announced that it has established the company’s first Customer Advisory Board (CAB). The Global Enterprise Customer Advisory Board, comprising more than twenty-five business and technical executives from around the world will be held in mid May 2009 in Connecticut. Participants span across various industries from some of the most respected organizations, including: GE, Northrop Grumman, University of Rochester Medical Center, and Proskauer Rose LLP. Faced with an echelon of constantly evolving sophisticated threats, organizations are now, more than ever, under pressure to meet industry and government regulations and do so with declining or existing budgets. Sophos is committed to simplifying security and data protection for the enterprise and seeking customer feedback plays a critical role in defining and refining the Sophos product roadmap. Continuing a proactive dialogue with customers, the Sophos Customer Advisory Board was established to serve as a formal platform, bringing customers and Sophos together to; exchange information and ideas on a broad range of IT and security opportunities and challenges; identify key requirements and enhancements of Sophos's product line and services offerings; and to ensure that business processes are optimized to strengthen relationships between the leading security vendor and it customers.
