| Sophos named finalist in multiple categories for SC Magazine’s Reader Trust Awards 2010 | |

IT security and data protection firm Sophos today announced that its enterprise endpoint security and data protection solutions have been named a finalist in four SC Magazine 2010 Reader Trust categories. Sophos Endpoint Security and Data Protection, a cross-platform solution, featuring anti-virus, firewall, network access control (NAC) and encryption technologies all in one simplified console, was named a finalist in three categories – Best Endpoint Security Solution, Best Integrated Security Solution and Best Enterprise Solution. Sophos SafeGuard Enterprise, the company’s multi-layered endpoint data security solution, which combines encryption and data leakage prevention (DLP), was named as a finalist for the Best Encryption Solution category. Sophos was selected from more than 600 entries submitted in more than 31 technology categories. All finalists will be reviewed and winners will be chosen by the Reader Trust Voting Panel -- comprised of security and technology experts from large, medium and small enterprises from all major vertical markets -- representing the wide distribution of SC Magazine readers.
